What do you hope reader’s take away from this retelling of your story?
That everyone is redeemable, and that you never truly know what’s going on behind the scenes.
That can be a hard lesson to learn. What is one thing your storyteller got right?
The bond I have with my twin sister, Azure, even when I thought it was gone.
Who would you want to play you in a movie-retelling of your story? Who would play your love interest?
I think Sara Paxton would do a great job playing me. For Ryan, I think Ryan Gosling.
Your storyteller told some pretty embarrassing tales about you. Is there any secrets you’d like to share about them?
Liam Wilder, my sister’s husband, bears a strong resemblance to a celebrity my storyteller loves, but she hardly ever admits it because she thinks it looks weird.
Pick a scene in your story. What song is playing in the background?
My first hot encounter in Ryan’s cabin. He had the Savage Garden song “Break Me Shake Me” playing on the radio. God, I love that song.
If price was no consequence, what gift would you buy your love interest?
The best quality surfboard I could find. He loves to surf in his spare time.
At what moment did you know you were in love?
It wasn’t until he said it himself. I’m not a person who falls in love easily, or at all, in fact, so I was never going to admit it to myself otherwise.
